If Your Birthday is this Month!

There’s One day a year –

That’s all yours!

It’s your very own New Year’s Day . . .

Happy Birthday!!!!

Take these six easy steps to look back at where you’ve been –

And decide where you want to arrive – in the next year of your life . . .

Using the life areas listed below, think over the year since your last birthday -

Fun/Travel     Family        Finances            Primary Relationship

Health          Friends     Career/Education      Personal Growth

1)      List at least 4 Wins, Successes, and Breakthroughs –

         What was their effect on your life?

2)      What are the 3 most valuable “life lessons” you learned and don’t want to forget?

                                Examples:

                                Reading/taking a class stimulates me

                                Sometimes its better to leave the dishes and play with the kids

             I actually feel better when I exercise

Now for the year until your next birthday-

3)      List up to six outcomes/dreams you want to achieve this year!

      Be specific.

                             Example:

                             Instead of “be more financially secure” make it “I will save $5,000.”

4)      List at least three steps you will take to achieve of each outcome.

                                Example:

                                Outcome – I’ll save $5,000.

                                I’ll record my spending for a month, then

                                Create a budget

                                I’ll commit to saving a certain amount every month

                                I’ll do a direct deposit from my paycheck to help me with this

5)      Choose three daily practices to support your outcomes –

and help you live a balanced, happier life as you achieve them

                                Examples:

                                Inspirational reading; meditation and/or prayer; any creative activity;

                                gardening; straightening your bedroom up every morning; listening to music;

                                walking your dog, cat or llama.

6)      Choose a name, theme or song that symbolizes Who you want to be / What you want to achieve during your next year – something you’ll enjoy hearing or seeing on your desk or screen saver – something that inspires you!

                             Example;

                             This year is my “Year of Living Well” and I’ve written outcomes connected with

                             living well – as a writer, as a woman, as a traveler, as a coach.

NOW – Have the best year of your life ever!!! AND – HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
